Idol just ended for the night and we stepped outside in time to see the space station being chased by the shuttle. The news pinpointed the time perfectly, which is always so amazing to me. Seeing both zip through the sky was really awesome.
Wow! How neat! Space fascinates me. I saw a space shuttle launch once when I was little and we lived in Florida. It was the Challenger (it was the last trip before the disaster).
When I lived in FLA for the summer with my mom, I went to Titusville once for a night launch. It is so awesome and eerie at the same time. It shakes the entire area, causing waves in the water of the nearby lake. It felt like a marching band was playing a drum cadence somewhere far off and you could feel the bass drum in your chest. It was the shuttle breaking the sound barrier. Did you hear that on landing?

I wish I would've seen it! Awesome. BTW, Andrew looks so adorable in your previous posts. He just looks more like a little man in every one.
