Little Curls

There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.

When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

(Adapt as necessary for our Ethan. LOVE this man.  And, by the way, horrid is a pretty strong word for kiddos, Longfellow.)

Despite what I DON'T know about gardening...

Exactly seven weeks from planting today, we have...
green tomatoes SO close to ripening we can taste them

baby broccoli that I hope I can harvest before "bolting" happens

baby peppers that are close to being shadowed by giant broccoli leaves

baby cucumbers

a crazy little amount of crowded food = LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Final Soccer Game (for now)

Life is BUSY, hence my last post being the first practice and this post being the last game!  Their game was last night.  Someday, I will fill in all the gaps in between with some other cute pics.

First Soccer Practice (March 25)

I have let hundreds of photos back up on the card. So, now that soccer season is nearly over, I am getting around to posting pics of the boys' first practice back in March.

They did well.... mostly.  Ethan was a mess at times, but they both had fun, despite the unseasonably bitter cold temperatures that day.

Yesterday in York

Jon, the kids, the hounds, Grandma Cathy and I ventured to York, SC yesterday for a visit with Aunt Phyl and my cousins, some of whom were visiting from WV, where it just happened to be 10 degrees warmer.  Gofigure.  Regardless, it was fun hanging with everyone and watching the Derby before driving 1.5 hours South.

Jack and Kim's beautiful D.D. dog

After an initial tiff to establish the Alpha dog, all the hounds peacefully enjoyed themselves.  Our girls slept hard the rest of the evening and are still not up this morning!
