First Tee Ball Game Tonight!

Andrew had his first ever Tee Ball game tonight. As a brand new 3-year-old in a league from three to five, he's the youngest player on the team, which makes things pretty interesting and pretty humorous. He definitely had a lot of fun this evening, though, and that's all that matters.

Professional Photos from May 2, 2010

I've been meaning to post these for a while now... our friend Karen Johnson did another beautiful job in almost 100 degree heat. Here are our six favorites from the May 2 session at the University of South Carolina horseshoe.

Ethan's Trip to West Virginia, Part II

Here's the second half of the journey Ethan and I took last week.

We spent time in Harrisville and visited Dad's grave site, of course. The cemetery looked gorgeous, as always.

Then we headed South to visit Aunt Rena and Sam.
Farther still, we stopped to shop at Tamarack for a little bit.
This bathroom was at Tamarack. Yes, I took a photo right in the bathroom stall. It's because EVERY bathroom on the planet should have one of these heavenly contraptions. The brand name, honestly, was "I'll Hold the Baby."

I am thankful that our baby boy was such a great, laid-back traveler. His sweetness made it such a fun, easy trip.

Ethan's Trip to West Virginia, Part I

Ethan and I took off together for his first ever trip to West Virginia (Andrew stayed home with Daddy so he could continue with his normal summer activities). We started out in Morgantown, where he took in many of the important places...

The West Virginia University College of Creative Arts, where his mommy and daddy spent approximately one million hours practicing, studying, and performing

The former Erickson Alumni Center, where his mom and dad were married

Mountaineer Field, where many wonderful football battles have been fought

A playdate with Danny, Ben, Sophie and Corinne

And I got to have some fun, too... Here are the girls at Oliverio's

More WV shots to come...

Andrew's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Andrew's 3rd today with good friends and family at our house. Fun was had by all. Our first "baby" will officially be 3 at 10:40 pm tomorrow. Can't believe it.
it was almost 100 degrees, so the kids attempted to beat the heat in the inflatable pools
