Halloween Extravaganza Part IV: Country Adventures Field Trip

Took a personal day yesterday to play stay-at-home mama and accompany Andrew's class to Country Adventures, an extremely rural, yet local farm.  It was fun, as usual, even though the weather is unseasonably cold because of Hurricane Sandy.

After this fall fun, I came home and ran 11 miles for the first time ever. But I digress.

Here are the pics of Andrew and his adorable friends.

Halloween Extravaganza Part II: Lake Scareolina

Lake Scareolina, where the only scary thing is the lines! We went Sunday afternoon with Grandma and had a good time.

Halloween Extravaganza Part I: My Gym Party

This last October week is full of fun Halloween activities.

Every. Single. Day.

Last night was the first of it; I took the boys to a one-hour party at My Gym and they had a blast.

The Griswolds Return?

When you are anxiety-ridden and can't sleep, why not map the 1700 miles you and your family plan to drive this summer to make it to the Burbank Family Reunion?

Color Me Rad 5K

Yesterday morning. Downtown Columbia.

Fun!

Not a race for serious runners, that's for sure... wasn't even timed.

But, the thousands of characters who came out to run made it all worthwhile.  And, it benefited Happy Wheels. I pushed Ethan and we both enjoyed giggling our way through as spectators pelted us with color in both powdered and liquid form.

I highly recommend this race for anyone who can walk (or run)! It's scheduled to occur throughout the country.  Here's the website: colormerad.com

South Carolina State Fair 2012

The four of us attended this evening and had a blast. Best one yet.  Andrew is clearly maturing into the protective big brother and Ethan is definitely the daring little kid.

Learned a lot about my camera tonight with the quickly changing fall light. My favorite photo is the fourth one down, where Ethan is waving back from the airplane.
