Because Andrew's a week from being three,

somehow in the past 24 hours we have happily signed up for summer tee-ball (let the outfield flower-picking commence), and aged-out of the Babynet program and have thus said a sad goodbye to our speech therapist, Miss Rachel.

I just gave birth to this kid like yesterday.

Gainfully Employed!!!

Now that the contract's officially signed, it's okay to tell the world that, ahem,

This is extremely exciting for me on a professional level and for our family on a financial level. It's been three years since I taught full-time. I have LOVED being home with my boys but am definitely ready to continue my 11-year-career as a full-time music educator. I know how fortunate I am, given the current state of the economy, to have landed an amazing job in an amazing district. It's the final piece of the puzzle for us these days (preschool, house, job...); should be all smooth sailing from here on out, huh? :)

Here's a link to my new school's web page.

YAY (insert hurkey here)!

There goes the neighborhood.

here are good friends loading up at the old place saturdaythe boys were entertained there with splashing...

...and cars, of course.

piano movin', fence-buildin', happy playin' and washer movin' at the new place...

fresh local corn in the new kitchen

thoroughly enjoying the new yard

moving makes everyone tired.

Some of the amazing friends and family members who helped us the most are not even pictured. That's because they were so busy, every shot I took of them was blurry. You all know who you are and we love you very, very much. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped the Burbank family get comfortably into our new house.

We are moving in two days,

which is a wonderful, exciting thing. However, as you can imagine, things are a bit of a mess around here right now. This is the only pillowcase Jon could find in the house for his own pillow last night. Also, regarding laundry, there was another little faux pas with an essential item of clothing already having been moved to the new house and not here tonight when needed. You'll have to use your imagination on that one...
