Halloween 2014

October 31 was busier than ever this year..... crazy and fun!
The students had a half day at school, so our principal let the staff bring their pets INSIDE for a pet parade!  This was definitely a first; Maddie and Dora IN my music classroom!  The students brought change to vote for their favorite pets, and all proceeds are being donated to the Carolina Raptor Center.  Love.

Grandma Cathy was there to help dog-wrangle.

Later that evening, of course, was Trick-or-Treat.  We started at Grandma Cathy's house, where we saw Shelly Kitty, who was NOT impressed with Maddie and Dora.

The super hounds captured the creepy Joker!

plotting.....

Ethan played in the leaves more than he got candy.

Cool decor

Our friends Nicholas, Izzy, and Christina went along with us.  We ended up getting candy from a fellow teacher's house, and she offered to snap this photo for us.  Classic!  Don't tangle with this crew.

After the candy-gathering fun, we hung out back at our house, where the guys had a little red wig fun....

Halloween is my favorite, and this one didn't disappoint!  Could be the most fun ever, and if I do say so myself, I'm pretty pleased with the Riddler costume I created.  Memorable times.

And on a side note, after such a beautiful, comfortable evening, it snowed in our town this morning!
